Re: aldoses-- I think what you have in your sandbox so far is spot on and will make an excellent (& necessary) contribution to the aldose wiki page!! and it looks like you're almost done (looks like you want to find some more specific info like if plants make aldoses, etc., I think thats a great idea). One more thing you could add is the notion of epimers & anomers (when Jim talked ab this last yr in ochem it was boring af lol but mayb you could just mention how 2 sugars can be epimers and like briefly mention "anomeric carbon"? cuz i feel like this nomenclature is relevant for sugars)-- you could totally link to the wiki pages for anomer / epimer as well.
Other than that, I don't rly have any other suggestions. Nice work!!
