To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Pigman 15:43, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Ian Goodrum, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Ian Goodrum is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Ian Goodrum saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please feel free to use deletion review, but do not continue to repost the article if it is deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Reason Ian Goodrum Is Deleted

edit

Here on Wikipedia, we have standards for what articles can and should be. In order for a person to be an article, they must be notable in some way, and sadly being a high school student/college student is not notable. However, if one wanted to make a page about his or her self, he can do so in the userpage. On the left of your toolbar on top, there is your username. Click it and it will take it to your user page. You can virtually do whatever you want on your userpage without it being deleted. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, please write a message here. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Hunchback strack.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Hunchback strack.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:03, 7 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
