Request reason:

Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 89.163.145.35. This is not a Proxy Server. This is a gateway of my Freifunk-Community. Looperz (talk) 22:36, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

The IP range this address is in is indeed a webhost, and is blocked both here on Wikipedia and globally blocked across all Wikimedia projects. You will have to use other means to edit. 331dot (talk) 22:39, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@331dot: Sorry, but "... and is blocked both here on Wikipedia and globally blocked across all Wikimedia projects" is not true. I can and do actively edit on de.wikipedia.org and www.wikidata.org. After nearly 15 years of Membership and using an account and not only my ip-address for authentification this feels strange. So on "your" "en"-subdomain, my IP does count more than my account? Really? --Looperz (talk) 17:11, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I now no longer see any block on this account, though I did before. That suggests your underlying IP has changed. 331dot (talk) 17:36, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@331dot: That must be magic! My IP is still the same. Just checked 3 seconds ago. But in this case we can quit that discussion now. Thank you. --Looperz (talk) 17:40, 6 April 2019 (UTC) @331dot: Sorry, we cannot close. I am still blocked for IP-Reasons. Please let the account (after n edits / after n days) be more important than the IP-Adress. Thank you. --Looperz (talk) 17:45, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I still see no block, are you getting the same message? I may not be able to reply immediately. 331dot (talk) 17:48, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
No Problem. Take your time. Having my IP it is easy to get that error-message. Just click "Random article" on the left and "edit source" on the top. And you get. "You are currently unable to edit Wikipedia. You are still able to view pages, but you are not currently able to edit, move, or create them. Editing from 89.163.128.0/17 has been blocked (disabled) by Favonian for the following reason(s):". In my eyes this is a block." --Looperz (talk) 17:55, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I am not currently in a position to further look at this properly; I would suggest that you make another unblock request so someone else may look at it. 331dot (talk) 20:10, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
