Re: Nuclear bomb design edit

Lithium is taking part in the reactions, but what's happening is that it's fissioned by the neutron flux into helium (He-3 or He-4) and tritium. The D-T fusion then generates the energy.

For purposes of an intro article, that's too much info, and the change to tritium you put in is sufficiently correct and precise. Georgewilliamherbert 22:49, 13 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. I elaborated on my edit comment in the article's talk page. LochVoil 13:04, 14 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Iranian nuke program strikes edit

Hey, I just posted this on your article Proposed Israeli Nuclear First Strike on Natanz Facility's talk page, but I'll put it here too. Good luck!

"There has been a lot of news reports about potential strikes against Iranian nuclear sites by either Israel or the US. Do you think it would be ok to create one overarching article entitled something like Plans for strikes against the Iranian nuclear program? This would allow for the info in this article plus others info (especially from some of Seymour Hersch's reporting) to be included together. Joshdboz 14:31, 14 January 2007 (UTC) "Reply

Agreed 100%. This issue is going to develop into a big story in the next 24 months. Why dont you create the holding article and then just insert a link to mine in that etc? LochVoil 15:36, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good. I will get to that soon. Joshdboz 01:20, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you were curious, I've begun a draft of the article here. I have linked to your article under the section of Israeli plans. Joshdboz 02:58, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
