English Wikipedia edit

I see you have created the article 童第周. Please keep in mind that this is an English wikipedia, not the chinese wikipedia, if you wish to contribute something in Chinese, do it so in on the Chinese wikipedia, if you wish to contribute that on this wikipedia, please have it translated first or request translations for it. - 山本一郎 03:58, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks. I just wanted it to be appeared for Chinese Guys as reference. I personally do not think it is annoying rather hepful. It was listed in Zh.wiki though.--Jon Zhang 04:52, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Redirects edit

The normal Wikipedia procedure for articles such as Tongji Medical University, Tjmu, and Tongji medical university is to have them redirect to Tongji Medical College (you've given the old name a thorough enough mention in the article). I hope you continue to provide good contributions to Wikipedia. TimBentley 04:41, 19 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of NAJMS edit

The article NAJMS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Relatively new journal, not indexed anywhere (except by the Library of congress, which indexes everything). Article creation premature, not notable yet. Does not meet WP:Notability (academic journals) or WP:N.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crusio (talk) 19:00, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of NAJMS edit

I have nominated NAJMS, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NAJMS. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Crusio (talk) 16:36, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

About this deletion discussion:
Are you aware of any publications about the publication itself? For example, a news story (published by someone else) about the journal's founding would be really helpful in supporting a 'keep' decision. If we can find a couple of paragraphs about the journal itself (as a publication or a business; not something about the papers it's published or routine announcements that a person was appointed as an editor) in two completely independent sources, then we might have a chance at keeping the article despite it not (yet) being listed in the usual places for a short-cut notability determination.
