Here (Alicia Keys album)

Hello. In your recent edit summary on Here (Alicia Keys album), you mentioned that the article was "still failing". I am confused what you meant by this, and could you explain? I would be happy to fix any flaws that you may see in the article. Sorry if I am simply misunderstanding, I am quite new to Wikipedia. Thank you, TheKaphox T 23:11, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

Re: Joanne

Re: this diff. "Pop" is mentioned several times throughout the article's prose. I wonder if you think the genre would be appropriate to display in the infobox. I raised the question on the talk page, too. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:59, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

@Another Believer: I responded at the talk page to Joanne. Thank you for letting me become aware of the discussion, as I was unaware of it. livelikemusic talk! 04:08, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

CBS This Morning

Hi. If Erica Hill is going to be included in the infobox, then (since the article also covers the 1987-99 program of the same name), shouldn't Harry Smith, Paula Zahn, etc., be included, too? The Today Show infobox only includes current personnel; everyone else who's played a significant role in the show's 60+ year history is mentioned in the body of the article, not in the infobox (which would be unbelievably long in that case). Every other news program article I've seen only has current personnel in the box, with others discussed in the article as appropriate. JTRH (talk) 02:10, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

@JTRH: Well, per {{Infobox television}} it does state they should all be included, so in reality, the original hosts from the series' first run should also be included. livelikemusic talk! 02:16, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

Infobox

in re Glory Days (Little Mix album)
The reason why people often move certain lines of the info box is not because of a manual move. If you use the visual editor instead of the source editor, certain things get changed automatically. You can also see the image being resized when you use it. The user cannot control it.

Decemer 2016

They are sourced! They clearly state the shows were sold out in London and Birmingham posted on the events website AEG. And the other one was screenshots from the Ticketmaster website stating prices of the tickets and confirming the VIP Package. KieranWard9412:27, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Present tense?

My understanding is that the past tense is used after a death. I don't see MOS:LEAD saying otherwise. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:40, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

@Paul Erik: Upon reading MOS:OPENPARA, I guess BLP's do go against the grain and revert to past tense. livelikemusic talk! 02:43, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Great; thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:44, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Mad Love Tour

Hello, I am responding to the message you left on my talk page on 13:55, 10 December 2016. Your response was very vague, however, upon researching, I found your issue lies with my edits to JoJo's Mad Love Tour article on 03:53, 10 December 2016.

You left the summary stating: "Unexplained removal of valid content, and unexplained ruining of table. And removing unreliable sources". However, when viewing the side by side comparison, I cannot find any of said claims conducted during my edit.

I will address each of your claims:

  • Unexplained removal of valid content
    • There was no content removed besides information in the infobox including:
      • mf=yes in the start_date and end_date
      • website
        • There is no offical tour website (similar to P!nk's last tour). The tour dates on the official website are already linked TWICE within the article, no need for a third inclusion
  • unexplained ruining of table
    • Removing columns for data that may or may not be reported is classified as "ruining"?
  • And removing unreliable sources
    • The source you deemed "unreliable" were
      • Vents - an independent local magazine published since 2009
      • Pollstar - trade magazine for the concert industry since 1981

I ask that you please back up your claims if you choose to revert edits with incoherant explanations. 50.155.157.164 (talk) 02:55, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

@50.155.157.164: There is no need to remove the "mf=yes" from {{Start date}} and {{End date}}, as it helps create a standard for the entire tone of the article to remain in the MDY format, which is an issue on multiple Wikipedia articles. Your reverts to the tables go against the standard setup for a tour table on concert tour pages that are put into place for a clean and crisp-looking format when editing the page. As for Vents and Pollstar, I do apologize! However, there are two sources that are much more reliable, in terms of their validity, so those should be preferred upon than others, etc. However, if you feel compelled, I can re-cite them and re-add them into the article. livelikemusic talk! 14:19, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
