3rr, plagurism

edit

I am again concerned that your editing falls counter to our policies. First, you are well over WP:3rr on Frank Guinta. Secondly, you have comitted obvious and blatant plagurism - in this edit, you add the following text

Republican Frank Guinta ousted Rep. Carol Shea-Porter in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Guinta got into the race 18 months prior and built a sizable organization that helped him win a six-way primary in September 2010. In both the primary and general election, he promoted himself as someone who would cut spending and bring fiscal discipline to Washington.

This text is identical from the text in the source, which reads

Guinta got into the race 18 months ago and built a sizable organization that helped him win a six-way primary in September. In both the primary and general election, he promoted himself as someone who would cut spending and bring fiscal discipline to Washington while trying to portray Shea-Porter as Pelosi's evil twin.

This is highly problematic - when you are not using your own words, you must use quotations to make that clear.

Further, as you are were a staffer of the Guinta campaign, it is imperitive that you read, and follow, WP:COI.

Please be certain to follow our policies in the future. Thanks. Hipocrite (talk) 21:09, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

And further, please stop removing stuff, and discuss this on the talk page. Matt J User|Talk 21:10, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
It should show that I was being unbiased in deleting that section from the quote from WMUR. Also, I am not a staffer for any campaign, but interested in politics and appreciate ballanced content. Your section on controversies does just the opposite and shouldn't be on any politians page.

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

More edit warring on Frank Guinta

edit

You've been blocked for edit warring before, so you should know better than to repeatedly blank content on Frank Guinta. You're being reverted by multiple editors. Please stop. Arbor832466 (talk) 16:21, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am open for a dialogue but will not stand for political attacks on a politician of either party.
You have made some good edits to Frank Guinta, an article that seems to be your only interest on Wikipedia. If you look more closely at articles of other politicians, from both parties, you will see that WP:NPOV requires stating and balancing the two sides of any noteworthy controversy that the person has been part of. The solution is not to blank statements by others, the solution is to present opposing arguments backed up by citations from reliable sources. For example, instead of trying to make the controversy about Guinta's bank account vanish, you should cite his public statements about where the money came from, etc. betsythedevine (talk) 19:03, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
