Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:20, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Spamming edit

Please don't add links to your website or info about yourself on articles, like you did on Twitter and Youtube. You can check WP:COI and WP:SPAM for more info on this. Fram (talk) 07:38, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

And not on Conficker or anywhere else either, please. Fram (talk) 07:45, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

April 2009 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Conficker. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Abecedare (talk) 07:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and forbidden by policies, and also violates our username policy.

However, if you feel that there has been a mistake in your blocking, please appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below or email the administrator who blocked you. Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Please check that your new username has not already been taken by checking this list. -- Mentifisto 13:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Why was I blocked? I can't create wikipedia page about LiveCrunch blog? I did not put much information because I am still learning about Wikipedia but that is not the reason I should be blocked. I made mistakes """User mistakes""". I appologies for the inconvinience of adding resources to wikipages , yes I linked to the post as "resource" from Conficker as I thought It would be useful. After I was warned I did not add anything back. But blocking me because I wanted to create LiveCrunch page that is absurd. How do you email admins at all?

Decline reason:

No mistake here. This account can't be unblocked because it is violation of the username rules. If you're interested in making encyclopedia writing a personal hobby, and willing to stop writing about and/or linking to your own web site, then you'll need a different username. But if the only reason you are editing is to write about and link to your web site, then you won't need an active account. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:59, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

What does my username have to do with username policy, I AM THE OWNER OF LIVECRUNCH.COM and I CARRY USERNAME LIVECRUNCH everywhere! so why not here, it's not abusive, for past 24hours I seen worse usernames. So if there is FisherQueen.com person can not have FisherQueen username on Wikipedia what you are telling me? And If I created Wikipedia page with what our blog is about and how many bloggers we have and left it at that because I wanted to edit later, I cant't do that? What about other thehnology blogs such as arstechnica, mashable, read write web, techcrunch, techmeme ? I really don't get what is your problem if I make a page called LiveCrunch and link to the technology blog called livecrunch and domain is livecrunch.com ? . SO after reading your BS, I have to create another username called Kissmy and then create page called LiveCrunch under which cercumstances I can't later on put as semi-protected or protected ? If that is the case than....

There is no www.fisherqueen.com. I checked. If there were, then I wouldn't be able to use FisherQueen as my username. If I were running a web site, I know I wouldn't be allowed to link to it or write about it at Wikipedia, but that's okay, because I'm here for altruistic reasons, to amuse myself while helping to write a free encyclopedia for the world- I wouldn't write about myself, because promoting myself would compromise my encyclopedic neutrality and make me less trustworthy here. I personally wouldn't even ask others to link to my page or write about it, because I know that if it's really important, someone else will come upon it independently and write about it. Of course, I'm not running a web page at all, unless you count my blog, which is not worth mentioning on any encyclopedia- everyone but my grandma has a blog, and mine, like almost all of them, is of pretty much no significance whatsoever, so there's no temptation to write about it in the encyclopedia. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:43, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

What is the difference if I create username or have somebody else write page for livecrunch and link to the domain the page is about?

Decline reason:

Requesting that someone else write an article helps to reduce the conflict of interest you have, and allows the article to be written from the perspective of a third party. This helps keep the article neutral, ensures it is notable, and helps in finding independent references. Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:09, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
