Please use edit summaries

edit

Hello. Please be courteous to other editors and use edit summaries when updating articles. The Mathbot tool shows your usage of edit summaries to be nonexistent:

Edit summary usage for Little Bird: 0% for major edits and 0% for minor edits. Based on the last 59 major and 1 minor edits in the article namespace.

Using edit summaries helps other editors quickly understand your edits, which is especially useful when you make changes to articles that are on others' watchlists. Thanks and happy editing! --Kralizec! (talk) 19:22, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Enayatullah Enayat

edit

Little Bird, thanks for creating the article on Enayatullah Enayat. I've worked for a long time creating articles about Afghanistan. If Afghanistan is a subject you're interested in working on, I have created Wikipedia:Requested articles/Afghanistan. Cheers! Kingturtle 13:39, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mumia Abu Jamal

edit

I reverted your edits because they were clear POV violations on an article that is already very dicey. The very fact that you linked to a Daniel Faulkner support site should be explanation enough. I don't disagree with you that Mumia is a scumbag and guilty as hell (you'll notice I added him to the "People who have murdered police officers" category I created), but that's merely my opinion, and has no place in a Wikipedia article. Really? I think the intro is about the only balanced thing in the article. Ford MF 06:07, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

p.s. please sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~)

Please sign your posts

edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! KillerChihuahua?!? 15:22, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Abdul Qadir Alam

edit

A tag has been placed on Abdul Qadir Alam, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 172.133.110.41 12:10, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
