I am very sorryif you have been upset by edits made by me and Ben-w, however, we were only trying to condone/uphold a standard in Wikipedia. You have no reason to blank my user page, as I even defended facts on the "Daddy" article. Please do not do this again. I hope you will not remain angry. D. J. if you do not deface and delete any more of my articles, then i will not remain angry.

I did not deface any of your articles, I had only reverted the information you posted on Augusta becuase it was not appropriate. The article had its own information posted, and you had reverted it and replaced it with a completely different topic. Create an article on this instead of reverting another one. The action was, in fact, a form of vandalism, as you wrongly reverted info. Take care, D. J. Bracey (talk) 00:02, 17 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

if you feel there is a problem with an article, the mature and considerate thing to do would be to let the writer know instead of just deleting it.

I did not propose to delete your article, Ben-w did. Thanks D. J. Bracey (talk) 19:50, 17 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Daddy

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your article on 'Daddy' by Sylvia Plath. There is already a page on this poem at Daddy (poem). Someone proposed to delete your article, but I feel that the two articles should be merged. Also, your articles stand a better chance of being edited in a "gentle" manner if you follow the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! DS1953 19:06, August 17, 2005 (UTC)
