Your teenagers can use the site, but images can be a very useful tool for adding information to their assignments. Wikipedia is not censored for minors, so be careful when removing images from articles, you shouldn't assume that nudity is pornography. It's not our place to judge what is "smut", but rather your responsibility to monitor your childrens' internet activity. If you don't believe Wikipedia is a suitable site, don't allow access to it.
Furthermore, the image which you removed was hardly pornographic, at least, in my opinion. Thanks for leaving a message on the talk page, I'm not going to restore the image, because though I don't consider it pornography, I don't see how the image adds to the encyclopaedic value of the article.
