Please do not edit my comments, or anyone else's for that matter. While minor formatting of indentation or bullets is acceptable, changing the order of sentences is not. - Sorry - was not trying to change the meaning of the content but merely wanted to make it in the same format as most of the articles in this category seem to be: a bullet and then starting with the aim of the comment (in your case deletion) - will not happen again... - Thank you. If you look at other Articles for Deletion discussion you'll see that the nominator never opens with a Delete header; only subsequent commenters do so. It's not a matter of policy, just common practice; I don't blame you for not knowing that, you've only been here for a short while. But in case of doubt, it is best to assume that others know what they're doing. In any case, I wouldn't worry about the format; the closing admin will base their decision on the content. editPlease do not delete whole sections of other people's contribution. Your edit looked like marketing for pivotal platforms rather than helping the reader understand machine types and differences. The whole article needs a re-write which I might do when I have time. I have not reversed your contribution but have added back in plus a few explanatory sentences. - I didn't delete the section but rather changed the format to be more readable and in addition I tried to change the naming of the used categories because of 2 reasons:
- a) to be physically correct (terms like 'speed' are very confusing, since what is meant is frequency while the velocity (which is also 'speed') as well as the acceleration of the platforms depend on the combination of amplitude and frequency. It is not a very )
- b) to make them compatible with the categories used in most of the other reviews and comparisons as in Abercromby, Pel, Rittweger, Burkhardt and others. Compared to other reviews the paper of Marin is rather confusing since it uses indirect and inconsistent categories like: 'premium speed' and 'High energy', while the only differences in the systems are: Movement pattern, amplitude and frequency - so those should be enough to categorise and this as done in the other reviews and comparisons.
- Apart from that, there are still some errors in that section, since side-alternating systems usually go up to 30Hz and not 27Hz.
- Plus the 3D vibration is a ferry tale as showed by Pel (In this analysis even the Power Plate system up to a few years ago claiming a 3-D movement turned out to oscillate more or less in only one dimension)
