Wanobean

A "Wanobean" is a member of the Wanobe community of men and women aged over 50.
Men and women over 50 are major consumers. Their children have moved out, their mortgages are paid off and a substantial number have the time and money to get the most out of life.
In Europe, the number of 50-plus consumers is forecast to grow to 142.3 million in 2009, compared to 96.2 million in the USA. The percentage of the population over the age of 50, in most industrialised countries of the world, will exceed 30 percent of the general population by 2009, according to 'The Capturing 50-plus Spending in 2006 Report' by The Mature Market.
