Fair use rationale for Image:Peru-paniagua.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Peru-paniagua.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Photos from Larco museum?

edit

Hi, I found you through the list of Wikipedians in Lima. I was in Lima this summer and I visited the wonderful Larco Museum. I didn't have a camera with me at the time, and now I regret it. Among many other things, I distinctly remember very interesting Moche sculptures of dead people masturbating that would make a great addition to our Moche articles. Wikimedia Commens doesn't yet have any of those. Do you think it would be possible for some Wikipedians to organize a photo trip to the museum? That would be great. I also posted this request to User talk:MarshalN20. Cheers, AxelBoldt (talk) 19:18, 3 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Indigenous peoples of the Americas

edit

Hi Le K-li, I noticed that you were active on the Qhichwa Simi wiki. Would you have any interest in developing a WikiProject Indigenous peoples of the Americans? The discussion, such that it is, is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Best, -Uyvsdi (talk) 03:55, 10 February 2011 (UTC)UyvsdiReply
