Information icon Hello, I'm NawlinWiki. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Laverne Cox because it did not appear constructive. September 2014 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Laverne Cox, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 00:28, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Lavernecox3000", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies that you are a specific, identifiable person. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 00:31, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Laverne Cox. NeilN talk to me 00:33, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Laverne Cox shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. A birth name is a standard biographical detail (see Chelsea Manning for example). Please do not delete again unless you get consensus on the talk page. --NeilN talk to me 00:38, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Identifying yourself edit

You will need to prove you are who you say you are as per Wikipedia policy (this protects against impersonation). You can do this by sending an email to info-en@wikimedia.org. Emails are handled by a volunteer response team so an immediate reply is not always possible.

Wikipedia articles are not under the control of subjects. If the info is widely published as this is [1], [2] then it is unlikely to be removed. Again, you need to use the article's talk page or the biography noticeboard to discuss. --NeilN talk to me 02:11, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
