Accusations of Lible

edit

Please feel free to delete anything that is uncited with which you disagree and add anything you think is usefull. It is not fair, however, to use Wikipedia to rewrite your past positions. If you dispute making those statements, or holding those positions feel free to say so and explain yourself, but recognize that it is fair for others to cite sources disagreeing with you.

Help, Don't Fight

edit

It was your bulk deletion of the article that resulted in the bot reverting it as vandalism. Perhaps you should consider fixing the problems you see with the article. Address the MSNBC story citing an AP interview in which they claim: "InDarby said he believes no more than 140,000 Jewish people died in Europe during World War II, and most of them succumbed to typhus." You should use this as an opportunity to clarify your position.

--Selket 00:09, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Selket: I have never rewritten past positions. I simply want libel and content designed to disparage me removed. Everyone should keep in mind that just because there is a link to a mainstream (controlled) media outlet, that does not make the alleged quote true or accurate. The problem with Wikipedia is that the business allows anyone to post anything about anybody without serious regard for fact or accuracy. And in the case at hand, the quality of writing is atrocious!

You deleted your content too

Do you find "Larry Eugene Darby is the son of Emmett Eugene Darby" Libelous? You wrote it. --Selket 00:34, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Intensely Rewriting your own Wikipedia Page

edit

[Larry Darby]]. You have basically removed the well cited version of your Wikipedia page with your edits. Please stop this. 71.207.240.17 05:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Selkat has an obvious vendetta against Larry Darby.

edit

I did not rebuild the page. I was very unhappy when I saw the state that it had been returned to. I have no idea who User:71.207.240.17 is. To be honest, I do think the page needs some rework, but if I make any changes they will say they are made by User:Selket

new version

edit

I tried to create a version that (1) has a little more substance, (2) captures the controversy, (3) does not disparage the subject, and (4) stays neutral on the contested issues while still presenting them. I hope everyone likes it. If not, edit away.

I do think it would be nice to add something about the Atheist Law Center, maybe a note on Orden v. Perry, etc. --Selket 18:26, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, Selket. I appreciate your effort and believe you generally achieved your 4 goals. I wish to comment on two ways to improve the article: (1) There is no article that deals with my campaign platform as it really was - the controlled media for the masses, such as MSNBC, Gannett, Newhouse family, Associated Press or other foreign-owned media operating in Alabama tried to hi-jack my campaign and make it about things it was not. The voters who voted for me did so because I represent a change away from cultural Marxism. (2) If you wish to post something about the Atheist Law Center then why not link to the article at Mathaba? Incidentally, A Brief History of the Atheist Law Center and Statement Disavowing Atheism is part of public record in Alabama. Because I filed it with the court, all persons have constructive notice as to the legal record. The link is http://mathaba.net/news/?x=539389

Signing comments and other advice

edit

First, when writing messages on talk pages please sign them with four tildes- ~~~~. This will be replaced by the wikimedia software with your user name and time of editing. Talk pages are much easier to read when comments are signed. Second, regardless of what you think about Wikipedia's "Marxist" agenda, I suggest that you not focus on it on talk pages. In general, you will acomplish more if you raise specific Wikipedia-policy based issues and discuss in those terms rather than make claims about "cultural Marxism" being the "pre-eminent mindset" (Having been an editor on Wikipedia for some time, I have heard claims that Wikipedia is controlled by Christians, Catholics, Atheists, Zionists, Nazis, Communists, Marxists, Lenninists, Stalinists, Arabs, the vast right wing conspiracy, Fundamentalist Christians, Muslims, Fundamentalist Muslims, Hinuds, Fundamentalist Hindus, Scientologist, pseudoskeptics, homeopaths, evolutionists, creationists, the men in black, the US Government, Mormons, Christian Scientists and many many more. I would tentatively suggest that this diversity of claims suggests that Wikipedia is not controlled by any of those. JoshuaZ 03:50, 30 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

But we all know it is owned and controlled by Zionists!

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "BopBeBop". The reason given for BopBeBop's block is: "confirmed sockpuppet of Larry Darby".

Decline reason: Maintaining the autoblock until consensus for or against a community ban is clear on WP:ANI#Larry_Darby_again.__-_suggesting_community_ban. -- Sandstein 06:25, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please note that the use of sockpuppetry to evade any policy or guideline that prevents you from normally editting an article is considered disruptive. Checkuser evidence proved that BopBeBop and you are on the same IP, and based on your contributions, that you are one in the same. Please do not edit the article about you under any name. Also, the addition of "Zionist" to JoshuaZ's username can be construed as a personal attack. Please desist from these as well.—Ryūlóng () 02:12, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
