Re: Page Deletion

edit

Re your message: The deletion reason is slightly misleading. I should have noted the deletion reason as being vandalism. The article was deleted because a former student decided to use the article as a personal graffiti page about himself instead of writing a real article about the high school. You added your graduating class' reunion website to Shawnee, Oklahoma, but I just removed it as it was not appropriate for that particular article. The external links section should only contain links of general interest to the article. For city articles, that tends to be official city websites, visitor websites, etc. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:10, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Re your message: You are welcome to recreate the Shawnee High School (Oklahoma) from scratch. There isn't anything that needs to be done by me or anybody else to restore what was there before. There is no salvageable content from the former student's graffiti. If you decide recreate it, I recommend that you locate a different high school's article whose layout you like and use that as a template for creating the new article. See Wikipedia:Your first article or use the Wikipedia:Article wizard to help you out.
As for the school class links, my point about deleting them was that they shouldn't be in a city article. School articles are a different matter. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:01, 26 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
