Smashing Pumpkins edit

I'm not very tech-savvy, but I have some understanding of how uploading media works on Wikipedia. Audacity seems to be preferred for making sound sample. Fair use audio samples ae never more than 30 seconds long, and are often shorter than that if 30 seconds is more than 15% of the song. As for images, that's a bit more involved, especially if you haven't taken the picture yourself. These require copyright tags and fair use rationales (you write a paragraph explaining how the picutre you are using, if it is not free, fits the fair use criteria). Phorque might be able to assist in guiding you through this stuff, so you might want to ask him. WesleyDodds 23:33, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

You can upload whatever you want, since album pages and song pages could use soundclips as well. For the band article specifically, I think what we need right now are "I Am One" (their first single) and something from Adore (I'm thinking "Perfect") WesleyDodds 23:52, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I couldnt seem to get it to work out well and when I recorded it with Audacity the quality was atrocious. Perhaps it is just my sound card but it was not pleasant and I dont think it wouldve been suitable to put on the page. Sorry I couldnt help Lamentingvampire09 10:52, 4 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bupropion/Wellbutrin/Zyban edit

Hello, Lamentingvampire.

In the Bupropion talk page, you raised some points which are better adressed by e-mail. Feel free to click the link to mail me about them, and I'll try to give you a good answer; either way, I would suggest removing it from the talk page, as Wikipedia is not an appropriate forum for this. Cheers, and best of luck.
