Violence on television affects children

Violence Programs on television have negative effects on children as it changes their interest, making them less sensitive to the pain of others and teaching them to be aggressive towards others. The passive aggressive activity of watching violence on television often becomes more attractive to children than socializing in outdoor activities[1]. Specifically community programs such various sports and culture activities appear less interest to them. They spend less time playing with friends, reading and doing homework, because of their lack of activity. They have retendency to becomes idles and overweight. Furthermore, many children admit that they just find it very difficult to turn off the television. In addition, their studies are exposed to violent scenes slower to violent scenes; they find themselves slower to intervene or to call for help when they saw younger fighting or playing destructively. By watching violent television shows children aggressiveness is increased sometimes to dangerous levels. They might think it is a normal pattern of behavior in everyday life. Violent scenes are common and they are making lots of money while destructively shaping the values of children.[2]
