February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Trần Văn Cẩn may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • or simply put, … asks for Vietnamization” Truong Chinh, cited in Huynh-Beattie, 2012: 40)<ref>(Truong Chinh, cited in Huynh-Beattie, 2012: 40)</ref>.

References edit

Hello Lacquerrpainting, I had a look at the references at Trần Văn Cẩn. The main reason for the error was that you had <ref>...</ref> tags (those create footnotes), but not the <references /> tag that actually displays them. A bot has now added that tag, and I have tidied up the footnote content itself with citation templates such as {{cite book}}. WP:Referencing for beginners is a nice how-to guide on references.
