Hello LBH edit

I'd like to talk to you about the Jenny Eakin Delony article. Among things. I recently contacted the Encyclopedia from which most of the Delony article was lifted. I am assuming (often the dangerous route to go) that you are the primary author of that article. After emailing that site I have resolved to remove from the wikipedia article most of the material obtained from that website because of copyright issues. I also believe that you are the copyright holder of that material, so can do with it what you wish. Such as post here. However, because the Delony article has been tagged as a possible copyright infringement others might come along and start removing material that is not footnoted. Another thing. If you put something, anything on your user page (this being your talk page) then your name will appear as a blue link rather than a red link and this will gain you 23% more respect from other editors. Nice to find you here, Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 14:29, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Copyright problem edit

Hi LHBaker! I removed some copyrighted material from the article on Jenny Eakin Delony that was copied from http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?entryID=4930, which is copyrighted by the Central Arkansas Library System.

An editor has told me that you are Linda Hastings Baker the author of this material and that you agreed for them to put . If so, and if you wish for it to figure on Wikipedia, then you can follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials#Granting us permission to copy material already online (this involves either changing the license on the website, either sending an email to our Volunteer Response Team). If you do choose to grant Wikipedia use of the content, it will of course be attributed to Linda Hastings Baker as per our policy on Wikipedia:Attribution.

Reply here or leave a message on my talkpage if you have any questions. Happy editing! :-) benzband (talk) 09:11, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
