Help with Short (finance)?

Hi there, L2blackbelt, good catch today on that IP edit to Short (finance) from the weekend. Since you've taken interest in the article, I'd like to ask if you're willing to look at an issue I've proposed on the article's Talk page (here). I'd previously worked with two other editors, and one gave some positive feedback on this change, but both editors have been slow to reply. The reason I'm not editing directly is because I'm actually working to improve the article on behalf of an industry group, the Managed Funds Association, and being mindful of conflict of interest guidelines I'd prefer to obtain consensus and have others make the edits. Hello, me again! At least I hope your Talk page is feeling less lonely. Anyway, you might want to take another look at Short (finance) regardless of my request, because another anonymous IP address from France has come in and made sweeping changes to the article, again deleting content and adding more "anti-short content" as you had put it before. Well, good news: another editor has agreed to roll that back. For the moment, however, the request I first asked about remains open. Hello, in regards to your request, I read through the talk page, and I agree with SPECIFICO's calls so far. However, I do not think myself qualified to determine on my own whether a change is a conflict of interest. My experience is in engineering, not economics, and I feel there is too much that I could miss in the particulars of making my own call. However I did a brief checkup on your profile and edits, and I could only imagine your edit requests to be in good faith. I will keep an eye on that talk page, and if anything crops up I feel I can contribute to, I will do so. Hi there, L2! First thing, another editor has taken care of my final request there, so all good. Second, the editor who made the sweeping changes showed up on my Talk page and SPECIFICO's as well to complain.
