I have now specified who holds the copyright to Image:Lacy Turner as Stacey Slater.jpg. Kurabal 23:34, 20 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
You did not. You need to identify which t.v. show it is from. Additionally, the license permits the use of a t.v. screenshot only to provide critical commentary on that t.v. show, not solely to depict a living person. Please see WP:FU. --Yamla 20:56, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

NFCC edit

I'm stating my opinion, the image is quite low quality, and so (in my opinion): rubbish. It's also less descriptive than the original. Please also see Wikipedia's Non-free content criteria, which your image fails. Matthew 20:57, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

it is also my opinion that the new image (which is not properly tagged, and may not count as fair use) is aesthetically displeasing. it makes David Tennant look ugly, when in fact he is very cute :) also, you seem not to quite get how wikipedia works - despite your protestations to the contrary, we do not need your permission to make changes (or revert them). see: WP:Be Bold. also, there is the three revert rule to consider.
if you have a serious problem with our opinions and subsequent edits, WP:DR is a good page to read. if you insist that, in your opinion, your image is superior, how about first, adding the necessary information to the image, second, reading Non-free content criteria to ensure that use of your image is appropriate, and third, starting a discussion on the talk page of the article? your views can be put across there and we can all act in a civil manner towards each other, although bear in mind that three people (including myself) have already reverted your image, so it appears common opinion is currently against you.
finally, rants and vague threats will not get you listened to. at the very least, they will get you ignored and/or simply laughed at. at most, they will get you banned and/or blocked. the way to get listened to here is to be polite and courteous, listen to and attempt to understand the viewpoints of others, even if you disagree. try to resolve differences in a civil and polite manner. i know it's not always easy, i'm certainly an occasionally temperemental girl who can lose her temper at times, but try to walk away for a while and calm down if you feel yourself getting too worked up.
i hope this has been in some way helpful, and i hope you can enjoy constructively contributing to wikipedia in the future, and not take it too personally if in the end some of what you work on is rejected, it happens to us all. take care of yourself and enjoy being a wikipedian - it should be something you do for enjoyment and for the sake of contributing to something worthwhile (like a free encyclopedia), not something to get all upset/stressed over, life's too short :) Xmoogle 23:22, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Tennant as Doctor Who.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Tennant as Doctor Who.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 09:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
