Hey...can we move discussion regarding portions of this article here...to keep a clean copy as we build? --Kukini hablame aqui 21:07, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Initial remarks: Evo Terra severed all relationships with Farpoint Media in May/June of this year. The radio show was called Dragon Page: Live Fire, and to my knowledge you won't find any sort of media coverage of it or the reason it was dropped by the station, and Mennenga and Brooks are the only two with knowledge of it and aren't talking, so I'd drop this. There has been talk of getting Cover to Cover back on XM, but this can just be treated as a rumor for now. (Oddly enough Mennenga doesn't even know when SoSF airs on XM) As for how many podcasts, there are actually over 41, not all of them listed on the page, and to my knowledge a number are in the works. (and I suppose I should "out myself" as Dubshack, the guy that does the Recap on Wingin' It, and one of these shows is mine) I dunno if its worth noting but the size of Farpoint Media has grown to such a level that editing of shows is being farmed out to take that load off of Mennenga. (Brad from Podculture for instance edits The Babylon Podcast) While its probably worth noting that Farpoint Media *started* the Parsecs, I don't believe they are still involved in it, even though Mennenga and Lafferty hosted the 2007 Parsecs. (Lafferty won an award, and could because she was no longer involved in the actual group I guess) Perhaps at some point I think the Parsecs ought to have their own page, when there is enough sources to support that. Other than that I think this is a decent start, but it would probably help to include some of the more prominent members (Mennenga, Summer Brooks, Brian Brown, Sam Sloan, Jeff Willerth, Tim Callender...) No point bringing up Evo unless you want a "previous members" section, which isn't a bad idea if you want to mention Joe Murphy. A live events section wouldn't be a bad idea either. And like I said, theres going to be a big announcement at PNME here in a couple of weeks, so thats going to be pretty noteworthy. In fact it ought to be the one to solidify the article. I think my involvement in the group should preclude me from participating in the editing of this thing, but if you need any pointers to info out there I'd be happy to help.--Arkcana 06:02, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
