donating copyrighted materials
editIt takes more for us to be allowed to include copyrighted materials in an article than for someone to claim that someone else said "okay", as you did as Ish's article. I know this sounds like a pain in the neck, but this is necessary for Wikipedia to protect itself as well as to play fairly with other peoples rights. See this article for information on donating. (I should also note that the material reads more like a personal essay than like the encyclopedic tone we strive for and, occasionally, achieve.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 02:06, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of How Canadian women won gender equality wording that others now use
editThe article How Canadian women won gender equality wording that others now use has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
