Overall the article looks good. Don't forget to cite the websites in the text. The facts that you added are interesting and important information for people to learn about Andrea Marshall. Also the facts are unbiased and I did not notice any grammar mistakes. If you wanted you could split up the "career" section into career and research to organize the information more. Also, if available you could add a visual such as an image or chart. Amyers311 (talk) 18:15, 23 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Katie, your article already has a short and simple title (Andrea Marshall), so there was no need to change the title, so it is good that you didn't. Your lead section is very direct and to the point. I know from the first sentence that she is a marine biologist, and what makes her stand out amoung other marine biologist. Is there anyway you could add her birthday in the lead section? Because everything in the lead section should also be mentioned thorughout the article, I would talk about her TED talk somewhere in the article. A good place for this may be under the career heading. Also instead of quoting your resources with parentheses at the end of sentences, cite them using the "cite" feature in your sandbox. I think your contributions contained independent and simple vocabulary, easy for anyone to read. The only word I would remove would be the word "only" in the following sentecne: "National Geographic also endowed the 2013 Emerging Explorer honor to Andrea. This award was only given to 17 individuals who push “boundaries of discovery, adventure, and global problem solving” [National Geographic link]." The word "only" might be viewed as you are for Andrea, instead of neautral. You also have a good number of headings. I would try and add one or two subheadings to add some more specific details. Some more edits you should make are linking important words to other wikipedia articles. One link you could make would be to the wikipedia page "Manta Ray," for people who are less famjiliar with the animal. Ashleydiggs (talk) 19:08, 23 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
