Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Kiteinthewind! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 935 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Diana Karazon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Chang Tse Sheng - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  3. Geraldo Magela - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Brian Burrell is also unreferenced. It is essential that you reference them, or you may well be blocked. Ironholds (talk) 10:10, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

A Request for Help

Hi there Kiteinthewind :), I noticed your username on Translators Available Spanish-to-English. I was wondering if you could help with updating Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi on the Spanish Wikipedia? Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi on the English Wikipedia has been majorly revamped- particularly, its being treated as a BLP now, since no ones been able to find evidence of his death. I'd do it myself, but I'm really only a beginner in Spanish. I'd really appreciate your help in this :). Thanks in advance, Omirocksthisworld(Drop a line) 23:57, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Hi again, thanks for pointing it out :)- I myself removed that information, but I was hoping to include references added to the article on the English Wikipedia that haven't yet found their way onto the Spanish Wikipedia. I realize it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out where to put them now, what with Google Translator and all. Thanks anyway :), and sorry for being a bother. No such thing as being a bother (well, there is, but you are far from there :D)! Anytime! Kiteinthewind Leave a message! 05:39, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Before Dawn

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Before Dawn. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Before Dawn. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:ATV Master logo.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:ATV Master logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

File source problem with File:ATV Old Logo.png

Thank you for uploading File:ATV Old Logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:54, 29 April 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:54, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

All About Eve

Hi, not sure what you were trying to do with All About Eve, but what wound up happening was the article about the film was at All About Eve (film), the disambig page was at All About Eve (disambiguation), and All About Eve itself - the page to which the vast majority of links exist - was a red link! I moved the article about the film back to All About Eve since that's the primary meaning of the phrase and that's what most links to that title are referring to. +Angr 09:48, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Sousense

Huh? Why did you tag this page as vandalism? It only had a broken template. Where was the bad faith? ALI nom nom 19:31, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and it's not in English. But it's still not vandalism. ALI nom nom 19:32, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
It's all right, it just confuses new users to tears if we mark their pages as vandalism. A7, that has reason behind it, but if something looks suspicious, it's better to AGF and turn out to have been wrong than to assume bad faith and end up being wrong and apologizing. ALI nom nom 19:36, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Not a bit! :D I could pretend it's French and translate it incorrectly. Would that help? Ah, well. Sorry. I'll look for references. ALI nom nom 19:46, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
