The original article was deleted as an unremarkable group. Basically, for a Wikipedia article to exist, the group must have independent reliable sources. "Independent" means from a source that is not connected to the group or anyone mentioned in the article (so Facebook pages, youtube and such are of no help). "Reliable" means the source (typically major newspapers and magazines and the like) has a reputation for fact checking and accuracy.

Once you have cleared that hurdle, there are some further problems. At the moment, the article makes some potentially libelous statements: it says things about people that, if not backed up by very solid sources might expose Wikipedia to a possible lawsuit. Among others, the claims some individual may be involved in criminal activity, that someone is "confused & paranoid" or "mildly depressed & paranoid" and that various people have autism are all problematic. As these claims are not well sourced, are potentially defamatory and apply to minors I will have to remove them from your "practice" page as well. (For full details, please see WP:BLP.)

There are numerous errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling as well. However, we can clean that up with little difficulty.

Basically, it seems this article is premature. Until the group is the subject of substantial coverage somewhere, there is little chance of an article surviving. - SummerPhD (talk) 00:03, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Diesel Maxx edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Diesel Maxx requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mo ainm~Talk 23:01, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
