Khurmi Rajputs are Rajputs from Rajasthan, very less known in other states. They are Kshyatriya warriors and known to be very brave. Khurmi's are related very closely to Chauhan and Bhatti Rajputs. In Punjab they are mostly settled in Bhatinda and sangrur district. Raja Bhaggar Singh Khurmi was a very well known Rajput in Rajasthan in 1700's. As the nation did not need any armies, Khurmi's are well established into other professions.
