User talk:Khal94/sandbox- Wiki Bibliography

Since there is no Scarlet and Black section on the Rutgers wiki page, should we be adding something about the project or are there plans afoot to have a wholly separate S&B wiki page? In either case, I think it needs to be mentioned, both in terms of importance to Rutgers itself and also for linking purposes if a standalone S&B page comes to fruition. Thoughts? ^^Agreed. On Zotero I linked the announcement of creating the commitee could use that as a source. Even if we just had a section on the estabilishment of the commitee and Scarlet and Black as like a section there. Crs218 (talk) 23:11, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Team 1766. Just a reminder, make sure all team members remember to login on Wikipedia. And also when you write comments on any Talk page, make sure you sign with ~~~~ to display your name at the end of your comment, otherwise you have a situation like the comment above where nobody knows who left the comment. -- JBhistorian (talk) 05:07, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
I agree, see my comment on the main page of our bibliography sandbox where I cite my sources, I speak to what we could focus on. Let's discuss more in class. I hope Prof. Bayker gives us time for that. Khal94 (talk) 22:04, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think we can definitely discuss more in class if we want to include a specific Scarlet & Black section, and then link to its own page, or interweave the history from the project into the Rutgers history page as a whole (chronologically of course). As long as the public is aware of it in some regard, and has easy access to learn more. I added two sources to our secondary sources bibliography that especially examine New Jersey's history with slavery, and mentions Rutgers in parts.
