editYou mentioned on 111 TD an official MoD handbook. Which one did you mean? Cheers Buckshot06 (talk) 06:57, 11 June 2017 (UTC)

editDoes Galeotti include a full order of battle? Cheers Buckshot06 (talk) 10:02, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, but he has some inaccuracies, like misidentifying the 68th Army Corps as the "68th Army". Kges1901 (talk) 10:07, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I've just found it. I also highlighted the "Sixty-Eighth Army". However it's ten times better and more authoritative than globalsecurity.org, and I have scribbled some rough notes that together with my warfare.ru archived Ground Forces page record will provide a much better order of battle replacement for the Eastern Military District at least. Buckshot06 (talk) 10:25, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
- Don't forget to check it against Russian media because it will become get dated, especially as the RGF continued to reform divisions.Kges1901 (talk) 10:31, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

You should consider nominating 7th Guards Tank Division to appear on the Main Page's "Did you know". It's less than 7 days old and it's already looking like a half-solid article. Cheers. EyeTruth (talk) 21:00, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
- @EyeTruth: What do you think the hook should look like? I can't think of anything that distinguishes from other units. Kges1901 (talk) 21:05, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
- Haven't thought about it. But something about how it was designated as a Guards unit because of fortitude and all should suffice. EyeTruth (talk) 21:15, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
