A lead section that is easy to understand Your lead page is informative. So far it looks like you've focused on the other parts of your Wiki page, which may assist you in creating a more in depth lead page in the future. A clear structure The structure you chose has good flow to it. In your Visual Analysis heading having Composition before Subject Matter and Symbolism might create better flow to the viewer. Having not seen the painting before it's easier to look at it as a whole, then start dissecting distinct sections. Balanced coverage As we are still at the beginning stages of this project, I would consider the content balanced. The is a focus on the oyster but that is very important to the painting. I would like to see a little more coverage on Jan Stern and why he chose to depict genre scenes. On Jan Sterns Wikipedia page it mentioned that his paintings sometimes seemed to warn instead of inviting them in to copy the behavior. These little details about Jan Stern may be interesting to add. Neutral content Content is very neutral, just provided information about the oyster itself and the time it was created. Reliable sources Good use of sources so far. The last source listed and the External Links lead to the same page, but it's pertinent to the work discussed.
