Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 05:32, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've contacted https://neuroticcat.com/ to try and resolve this issue, as I contend that I wrote the original section. Loaded4th (talk) 16:38, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Now I understand. I didn't understand from your previous comments that you're saying they copied you. The Wayback Machine verifies that your edit was on 21:08, 14 January 2014, and that text didn't appear on their site on December 2014, but was copied there by June 2017. Sorry for the confusion. I reverted my deletion. I'll add a {{Backwardscopy}} tag for noting when Wikipedia has been copied. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 21:23, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Sorry that it took me a while to understand this myself when I was the original author, so that just added to the confusion. I'm glad that the Wayback Machine verifies my original content--I'd forgotten about that! Thanks for your diligence...Loaded4th (talk) 21:48, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

FYI Update: Finally talked to the owner of https://neuroticcat.com/, who claimed they are also a victim as the material was purchased. They have updated the site with a credit and removed the copyright notice. This should avoid any future claim of copyright infringement with this site.Loaded4th (talk) 19:40, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
