Electric bass page

edit

Hi Kenliu,I have appreciated your input and suggestions on the electric bass page. I just wanted to let you know about an approach that I suggested on the "Discussion" page, which is to make the article readable and useful to the general reader, and not just the bassist or musician. I also agree with the contributors who have been pushing for a more holistic treatment of the subject of electric bass; that is treating the instrument as it is played, and not just describing it as a piece of wood, steel, and lacquer with xx switches and x knobs! For example, the section on "Role of the Bass" is valuable, because it explains to the bass' role to the non-musician. Keep up the good work!NatMor 17:46, 7 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
