Plans for Spasmodic Dysphonia Page

edit

One area I definitely want to work on is the treatment section. There are recent reviews and meta-analysis([1],[2],[3]) I have found in my preliminary search for information that may provide new information.

Hi!

The treatment section is excellent. It is very easy to read and informative.

Here are some of my ideas for your draft. 1) I think the lead section should be shorter and include less detail. The information there is quite important, therefore, I would place some of those points in their own sections. For example, I would discuss the different types of treatments in the treatment section. 2) A new section with the heading "epidemiology" could be added. The prevalence rate information in the lead section can be added to this new section. 3) Is there any incidence of spasmodic dysphonia in paediatrics? If so, this information can be added when talking about prevalence rates.

Citation #7 is missing some information.

Great job! JessicaVoiceDisorders (talk) 02:45, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your feedback.

  • I fixed the citation information.
  • Looked into SD regarding paediatrics, didn't find anything.
  • I think the lead section does a good job of providing a quick overview. It is very similar to what os originally in the article, I mainly just updated it to reflect more recent research.

Hi Nick

Good job! You have done a good job to incorporate the information from multiple sources and articles and synthesize it to useful information for the wikipedia article. I also saw that you are responsive to your peer's comments. Nice.
