Hello, Ken. I am not sure what message you are referring to, but I apologize if it was misplaced. As far as I know, we have never communicated before. Your message on my talk page was your first edit to Wikipedia using the account Ken225. If you let me know where I wrote to you before, I would be happy to talk more about it. when I opened the main page this evening there was a message flashing up from yourself, saying that I had vandalized a page at "Beauchamps High School" and threatened to block my ISP. Obviously I was concerned as I consider Wikipedia a powerful tool on the Web. Regards Ken225

Ah, I see. I left warning messages on the talk pages of several IP addresses in that were vandalizing that article in February. When a message is left on a user's talk page, they receive that yellow notification the very next time they view any page. The reason that you received the message is because you were the first person to view a Wikipedia page using that IP address since February. I am sorry if the message caused you any distress. We have very few ways to communicate with the people who vandalize Wikipedia using dynamic IP addresses, and sometimes our efforts reach the wrong person. This does not happen very often, however, and it will never happen again to you so long as you continue to use this account, Ken225.
By the way, I'm happy that you enjoy reading Wikipedia. If you are interested in helping us to improve and expand the encyclopedia, please take a look at this page. All the best ×Meegs 21:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
