Kelselle's first message

edit

Hello back! You successfully left me a message on my talk page and now I'm leaving one back for you. And you also get a WP editing tip of the day! When you want to start a new subject or thread on someone's talk page, you should start a separate heading. You can do so as I did, by using two equal signs to set off the subject line. See you Thursday! --Greentina (talk) 23:46, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Trail Smelter Dispute Article for Creation

edit

I have submitted an Article for Creation page for the Trail Smelter Dispute. You can see it at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Trail Smelter Dispute. SockeyeSam (talk) 22:38, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

There seems to be a bit of confusion on our part about creating an article, so for the time being, just work in your Sandboxes. SockeyeSam and I will keep you posted on this. --Greentina (talk) 00:36, 11 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Update on the Trail Smelter Dispute article

edit

hey kelsey, I got your message. I agree that that content should be there about Lake Roosevelt, I was just wondering about calling it legacy or something to reflect its current status. If you think that is best expressed that way, I am ok with that, you are more familiar with those issues than I am. I will gladly look it over again if you want me to before it goes up, I think everyone should weigh in for sure too before it goes on the live page. The paraphrasing stuff is hard because you want to make sure to reflect the content of the text without sounding awkward. Its totally ok to integrate key phrases, I think whole sentences are less ok. Hey what room is the tutorial at 10 in tomorrow? Sliver9754 (talk) 04:28, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

hi kelsey: I think that Lake Roosevelt still belongs somehow, but not sure how best to integrate it and where to divide the sections. Lets see what everyone says. No need to be sorry, it feels weird working together this way so remotely, so we are bound to have some communication issues for sure. thanks for the room number. I have to get to my other paper now but I will check in in the morning before I go to campus. Great working with you on this. Sliver9754 (talk) 04:50, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I apologize if you already have this, but you may find this helpful "The doctrine that the polluter pays is the tribunals best known ruling, a ruling that adoped the US interstate commerce doctrine; this has been an innovation in international law" Mhills91 (talk) 04:59, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have, it's near the beginning of my talk about precedents - thanks for thinking about this, Mike! --Kelselle (talk) 19:19, 2 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Trail Smelter dispute, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lake Roosevelt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
