Splitting articles edit

Greetings! I just wanted to point out the WP:Split page. When splitting content from one article, a {{copied}} template should be placed on the talk pages of both the origin and destination articles. This allows for proper editor attribution. At a minimum, edit summaries should be used that explain the origin and destination of the material. If you have any questions, please ask, and I hope you'll continue to work on UW-Madison related articles! Regards, P. D. Cook Talk to me! 15:20, 23 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
