Image copyright

Please do not take images from the Internet and claim them as your own creation. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and it is important that we know who the copyright holder of an image actually is. If you want these images to be used on Wikipedia, you have two options:

1. Use the copyrighted images under the "fair use" doctrine, subject to our Wikipedia:Non-free content policies.
2. Contact the copyright holder and have them e-mail a statement releasing the images to permissions-en@wikimedia.org
