Ngweze location The sun shines, clouds clear, birds singing and wind blows quietly. A location where one will always feel at home.Ngweze location is the oldest location in katima mulilo, caprivi region. Its located north east from the town. The houses in this location are quiet old but they are filled with warmth and love. Though some other people are renovating their houses. The streets have gravel road and that makes it unique. It’s a location where our four fathers lived. Their presence can still be felt around the houses. Small kids turn their yards into play grounds since they are filled with sandy soil and its fun for them to play in sand. During the night they play hide and seek, hiding themselves in gardens. As for the big boys they play soccer in their own made soccer fields and the big girls stay at home caring out their chores. When the big girls are done with their chores they gather and enjoy playing cards. Elders visit each other sitting under the shade chatting. Some people sell sweets, snaks, and fat cooks to people who pass across their yards and also to some neirboughs. During special events such as Christmas Eve, families usually come together. Lot of food is being prepared for everyone to move their jaws. Before they come together to dance and eat they first have to go to church to thank god for everything. People dance and enjoy each other. In times of sorrow and sadness, people are always there to give each other comfort. People in this location care for each other. If one doesn’t have something, their neighbors’ are always there to give their helping hands. When its rainfall season, the gardens become green and the fruit s become reap. People plant maize, mahangu, sweet potatoes and pumpkins in their yards. The soil is moist and you can smell it. Kids enjoy playing in the rain, everyone is happy as their crops will get water. The dust from the gravel road is reduced as the roads are wet. Besides the old houses and gravel roads, ngweze location is still a location that is full of peace and harmony. People in the location don’t mind about living in old houses and the dust caused by gravel roads because it’s where their four fathers lived. To add on it’s because it’s where they find happiness. Their children enjoy and love being there. It’s a location where one cannot resist from,because of its people and their positive character.
