Here is the problem. A group of newly registered names kept coming in and insisting she was born in 1974. They used rationales like "I went to school with her", "I'm in her class at USC", "I was her teacher, I should know", etc. etc. Finally, one of them pops up with what he or she purported was a copy of her birth certificate which "he won't care if I share it" and sent it in to the governing body (oversight) who oversee such things. I doubt very seriously that it was a legitimate copy of her birth certificate and OTRS (the oversight people) accepted it. There is no way she could be born in 1974, spent a semester at college, worked on TV in Detroit, worked on Sandra Bernhard's stage show, been in Los Angeles for two years, and had this article written about her in 1992. That would have made her graduate from high school at age 14 or 15, and she wouldn't be anywhere near 25 in 1992. Unfortunately, classmates.com and the like aren't considered reliable sources, but the Los Angeles Times is. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 08:01, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Me too. I posted a comment about it at the Shinas talk page. Wildhartlivie (talk) 10:09, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
