Hellenic Army

Yes it would be great to do a graphic of the Hellenic Army, but there is not enough information available right now on wikipedia and the English site of the Hellenic Army to create such a graphic. an example:

• I Army Corps Kozani
  • VIII Infantry Division Ioannina
    • 15th Infantry Regiment Grabala (how many battalions? where is it based? what type of unit is it- mechanized, motorised?)
    • 3/40th Euzonoi Regiment kouchi (how many battalions? where is it based? what type of unit is it?)
    • 8th Armored Cavalry Battalion (where is it based? what type of unit is it- armoured maybe?)
  • 9th Infantry Brigade (9η ΤΑΞΠΖ), Florina (what are its subunits? where are they based? what type of units are they? Is the Brigade directly under the I Army Corps or is it part of VIII Division?)
  • 10th Infantry Brigade (10η ΤΑΞΠΖ), Serres (the same as above)
  • 15th Infantry Brigade (15η ΤΑΞΠΖ), Kastoria (the same as above)
  • XXIV Armored Brigade 1st Cavalry Regiment Florina (is "1st Cavalry Regiment" the name of the Brigade or one of its units? and all the above questions too.)

Therefore currently I only watch the sites of the Hellenic Army, waiting until this information becomes available. As soon as it is- I will do the graphic! As the Hellenic Army is one of the very few in Europe that I haven't created a graphic of yet: Finland, Norway & Sweden I will do this weekend; Poland as soon as someone translates the data from Polish and so the only Armies in Europe that can't be done for a lack of information (besides Greece) are: Bulgaria, Macedonia & Serbia. your infos are a good start :-) until we know more I did a graphic and a rework of the 71st Airborne Brigade. Especially I put in the military unit template and added the units. You do not bother me at all! Add the info you have to the articles of the 2 Armoured Brigades (in English Brigade is written with a d not a t) Hellenic Army 23rd Armoured Brigade and Hellenic Army 24th Armoured Brigade and I will take the infos from there and add them to the graphic "Hellenic Army", which I already began :-) --noclador 11:27, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

I did some changes to Hellenic Army XX Armored Division. If you have a look at 4 Alpini Regiment or Royal Regiment of Scotland or 1st Marine Division (United States) you will see how an Army unit article on wikipedia is supposed to look- especially important is the window on the right that contains all the basic information. About the 3rd, 4th and 8th Armored Cavalry Battalions: as soon as we do the XII Mechanized Infantry Division and the VIII Infantry Division I will add them to their divisions graphics even if we do not know their names, because as soon as a graphic is finished people start telling me all errors or omissions and so the graphics get better by the day :-) --noclador 07:07, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
