Azita Ghanizada

At this point, the information you are contesting is sourced to two newspapers: the Washington Post and the Great Falls Tribune. Both meet the definition here of a reliable source. Additionally, I'm slightly suspicious as the account name which you are editing under does read as a proper name, and that's different from the article name. However, I am one of the administrators for Wikipedia so I'm not unsympathetic to your concerns as you're raising valid issues which are covered by our biography of living people policy. Can you do me a favour and send me an email so we can discuss this offline? Among other things, I'd like to verify your identity or relation to Azita. If that can be suitably resolved I can take clear steps that will help keep the information off in the future. You can find the link on my own talk page. I'm having difficulty accepting that you are indeed the subject of the article, as some of the information you're removing (the Virginia Tech diploma) is sourced to Azita's biography page on the Sy-fy website for Alphas. Please send me an email so we can establish your identity; until then I will maintain the edits in question. Tabercil (talk) 04:26, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as Azita Ghanizada. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not remove valid content from pages on Wikipedia. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Xeworlebi (talk) 23:51, 30 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Azita Ghanizada. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Tabercil (talk) 00:03, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
