Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tampa, Florida, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:32, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

This was the second time you added this without a reliable source. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:36, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, you are right that I should not have considered Facebook as a valid enough source. Truth is, due to the nature of Ifa, religious practice is reserved to private gatherings and godparent-godchild relations, and thus markers of religious life such as particular temples are non-existent. There are plenty of signals that show Santería is practiced in the city (only natural in a town where a quarter of the population is Cuban) but these include Botanical shops that explicitly sell ritual items, Facebook groups and sensationalistic news about animal sacrifice. The Yoruba Cultural Association points to a chapter in Tampa in its webpage but no further information is given. Until I can find a serious article about the presence of Ifa, you are right that I should not make further attempts to include the paragraph. Thank you again, have a good day!:) KOSƧIO (talk) 16:15, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
