Small thing

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia :-) Just wanted to let you know that I undid one of your Spock edits: although "presumably" Spock held the rank of ensign, one could just as firmly presume that he skipped it, or that maybe Starfleet decided to retire the rank for a week, or some other sillyness. While plausible, material in Wikipedia needs to be attributable to a reliable, secondary source; inferences and assumptions, no matter how logical and plausible, are considered original research and generally don't last long in Wikipedia articles. There are a ton of empty spots in Star Trek lore that are tempting to try to fill in with well-intentioned supposition -- but, restraint is the order of the day. Anyhow, thanks for your contributions; welcome to Wikipedia. --EEMeltonIV 05:15, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

3RR warning

edit

Just warning you that your reverts on the Barack Obama article may be in violation of the three revert rule. Please discuss your preferred wording on the articles talk page (like you're currently doing) rather than defend your version on the article itself. Continued reverting may result in you being reported for violating the rule and an involuntary 24 hour wikibreak. Thanks. --Bobblehead 02:57, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

You've got three edits within eight hours that you've identified in your edit summaries as reverts and this edit[1] is a slightly modified version of your preferred version.[2] All in all, there isn't any harm in a version you don't prefer remaining on the article while discussion is under way. --Bobblehead 03:35, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dereks1x

edit

As you are an obvious sockpuppet of Dereks1x, and because Dereks1x is under a community ban per WP:CN, I have blocked you indefinitely. · j e r s y k o talk · 12:39, 10 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
