Zeus is a really cool dude and he thinks these WP:ORE articles are cool too

Greetings WikiProject Oregon guys and gals. Once again it is time for another edition of the our niche market Collaboration Of The Week. As always, thank you to those who worked on the Ross Tower and Walton. For this week we have the Calapooya Mountains and by request (and in honor of the opening) the venerable Portland Saturday Market. Just remember, if you are feeling blue, try breathing (rimshot please). Once again, click here to opt out of these messages, or click here to make a suggestion for a future COTW. That's okay, just please be constructive with your edits - it's a great thing to want to help make the encyclopedia better, but a true waste of potential when time is spent adding nonsense instead of improving things. And no, I'm not. :) -Kgasso (talk) 09:04, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

U too can help Oregon

Graphite Painting

Hi,

You reverted an edit of mine and I wondered why.

My partner uses Graphite for her work and I would consider it a legitimate art form. The term "graphite painting" does sound a bit pretentious but it seems to be commonly used to describe this art form. The alternative "graphite sketching" seems to belittle the art form somewhat I think.

I am not too worried about it as my edit would have forced me to create the page "graphite painting" and it seems a bit daunting at the moment :-)

But I would like to know why you deleted my addition.

Hi Dave,
Can you please send me a link to the page in question? I do a fair bit of vandalism reversion, and your edit might have been mistakenly tagged as such. Sorry about that! Thanks! -Kgasso (talk) 16:52, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
I've undone your reversion. The page was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painting#Painting_media
Ta. Davoje (talk) 00:48, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi Dave,
I took a look, and it looks like the reversion I made was to User:77.45.215.166, who added a link to an external website. It looks like User:Modernist was who reverted your change. Thanks! -Kgasso (talk) 06:42, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello to members of the WikiProject o' Oregon. Once again it is time for the Collaboration Of The Week. For this edition we have by request Mr. Maurice Lucas of the Blazers, and a maintenance type project with the Dab Patrol. About the links

We no longer stream the videos. There are just video links on bestcomedyonline.com I know Wikipedia is not a link farm but we are a free source of links (no streaming, therefore no copyright infringement). The content of the site is 100% original. So, is it now ok to post links to the shows on my site? After all, its alternative reading and more information about the show than wikipedia has now.

Kite Man Says beware of powerlines
