Welcome to Wikipedia. You removed the information on Howard Bloom's early life from his Wikipedia article with these edits of yours, but without providing a rationale for this in an Edit Summary. When removing material, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page.

Also, here are some other tips:

• Please do not add external links to the bodies of articles. As indicated by WP:EL, external links do not go in the article body unless they are formatted as inline citations.
• Wikilinking to another Wikipedia article can be achieved by putting a double set of opening and closing square brackets around a word. Using the full url of that article in an external link is not necessary.
• Any source that supports the notability of the article's subject, or which could be considered aggrandizing, self-serving or promotional, must be a secondary source. Using the subject's own website for anything that isn't innocuous (like where they grew up, what their beliefs are, etc.) is inappropriate.
• Sites with user-generated content, such as IMDB, personal blogs on WordPress or Blogger, open forums, other wikis, Patch Media, are not reliable under WP:USERG.
• Using the ref name tag is only necessary when the source is cited more than once. When using ref name, make sure you choose an easily-identifiable name for it. ref name=NewYorkTimes is a clear ref name. ref name=":7" is not.
• Be careful not to add too many citations to a given passage or paragraph. If one source supports consecutive sentences in the same paragraph, then one citation of it at the end of the final one is sufficient. Placing back-to-back citations after each individual sentence is citation overkill.
• Editors should never add their own opinions, viewpoints, assessments, analyses or remarks to Wikipedia articles, as indicated by WP:NPOV and WP:TONE. For this reason, the remark about Bloom's work being printed in Boys' Life being "ironic" was removed.
• As indicated by WP:YOU, material on Wikipedia must be written in the third person, and not the third person. For this reason, the passage "The experience convinced him that if you do enough research and you care enough about your reader, you can write on any subject", if included, should be presented as "The experience convinced him that adequate research could enable one to write about anything."

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit ^beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it.
