User talk:KDPetersen/Walker Cane Hybrid

I (KDPetersen) am a new participant in Wikipedia. I have prepared a new article for "Walker Cane Hybrid", a new mobility aid which falls into neither the assistive cane nor the walker (mobility) categories directly. In accordance with the Wikipedia COI (conflict of interest) provisions, it should be noted that I am a minority shareholder in a company which developed this new type of device over the past four years and for which it was issued a U.S. patent by the USPTO (US Patent No. 8,291,924) in October 2012 and is now being marketed. This article is appropriate for Wikipedia since it discusses a new type of mobility device which is of interest to a large part of the disabled and elderly population. Great effort has been made to write it in an unbiased and non-commercialized way, similar to other related articles on mobility aids. Because this is a new type of mobility aid there is currently little information available in the public domain. The commercial website (Songline Mobility) does provide useful additional information; however, I have not included a link to the site in this article. KDPetersen (talk)

The draft looks good, however it needs more references, which discuss the walker cane hybrid in detail and are not from the US Patent. They generally doesn't confer notabiliy. The design and use section are completely unsourced. Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 07:07, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
