The source is no longer affiliated with the University of Florida and is now called The Independent Florida Alligator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Independent_Florida_Alligator The source has been independent since 1971. --Jveingrad (talk) 18:21, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

"The Independent Florida Alligator is the daily student newspaper of the University of Florida" - it's still not an independent source for our purposes as it's run by students, reporting on students.
