A tag has been placed on Stumbras, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. People - it is not advertisment for the company - it is plain information about company including it's history. The reasons why i put up this whole article: 1. In lithuania alcohol industry is quite important, because we have an old strong alcoholic drinks consuming traditions. It amased me, when in wikipedia i could not find information about any of lithuanian strong drinks producers so i chose to provide some on the largest and oldest of them. 2. In the past month there has been discussion in lithuania bashing our internet community for not putting sufficient (and of course, truthful) information about our country on the sites like wikipedia. so i decided to do little something about it. after all, we also have some production going on:)
About the article itself. i looked at lots of other informations about companies in wikipedia. my article doesn't even come close in advertising perspective as some of the articles in here. Just open up info about absolut vodka.
I repeat - there is just facts and a mix of new and old indormation in this article, therefore it meets the wiki standarts. If you woud like - i will be glad to discuss why i think so. If you still think this is "blatal" advertisment - delete information about all the companies in Wiki, because u can argue that a even a mentioning of the name is advertisment.
